A little about me

I’m Mohamed Samy, a product designer based in Amsterdam, currently working on AI and security products at IBM.

My work sits at the intersection of complex systems, human judgment, and trust. I design experiences for enterprise environments where decisions matter, mistakes are costly, and clarity is essential. Today, that means shaping AI-assisted workflows for identity and access management — helping users move faster without losing control or accountability.

I enjoy working on problems that are ambiguous by nature and require careful framing before solutions emerge. From early discovery and alignment to detailed interaction design, I aim to create experiences that feel intentional, understandable, and grounded in real user needs — especially in high-stakes domains like security and infrastructure.

Outside of the work itself, I value collaboration, facilitation, and thoughtful critique. I care deeply about how teams arrive at decisions, not just what they ship.
